IBM Catalyst — internal resourcing and staffing
Client: IBM GTS - internal
Role: UX/UI Designer and Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator
Intent
An internal engagement working with IBM’s GTS team to define and design a platform for their partners and APs to manage project resourcing and staffing.
Impact
In my four months on this engagement, I:
Collaborated remotely with a global team
Designed 50+ high-fidelity screens
Delivered Five high-fidelity clickable prototypes
Delivered development-ready designs with detailed annotations
Restructured and organized a design library of common patterns
Collaborating and aligning with business:
As the lead designer for the Labor workstream, I owned the ideation, design, and delivery of high-fidelity wires for development. Working closely with the business team, I facilitated co-creation sessions to understand the current needs and goals of the team. Through frequent feedback sessions with the business and development team, I refined designs, taking tech feasibility into consideration with each iteration. With business and development approval, designs were translated into responsively scaled device sizes. Through clickable prototypes and annotations, I communicated key business requirements and interactions in the designs. After delivery, I worked closely with developers to provide feedback and guidance as the designs were being built.
Delivering development-ready designs:
In my four months on this engagement, I designed and delivered five comprehensive, high-fidelity prototypes, each approved and ready for development.
